There are many salsa clubs in London. After you have spent the day enjoying the sights to see in London you may wish to dance the night away while you are in town and if you are on a tight budget, you can definitely salsa in London for free. Check out a place called Salsa!Bar restaurant. It is based on Charing Cross Road right in the heart of central London.

Every Friday evening you can go along and join free salsa dance lessons where you will learn the basics of salsa, meringue and the lambada.

The good thing is that you do not have to have a partner. You simply get on the dance floor, learn the moves then partner up with whoever happens to be standing next to you. Everyone is really friendly so it is an easy and relaxed atmosphere.

The free dance classes run from 6.30pm until 8.30pm and there is also a happy hour so you can buy two Corona beers for the price of one.

As the free Latin classes continue, you will notice more and more people will turn up and either join in or watch from the sidelines. By then end of the session, you should have the basic steps under your belt and the place then turns into a nightclub. If you are lucky there may be a live band playing.

Take time out of your cheap weekend break to London and spend a night out on the town.

During the summer months, you can watch the changing of the guards which is truly a sight to behold.

In 1992 there was a fire in one of the state rooms at Windsor Castle, which caused extensive damage. In order to raise funds to rebuild and reconstruct the building, parts of Buckingham Palace was opened up to the public for the very first time. Buckingham Palace is definitely one of the places to see in London.

Big Ben

If you are on your London vacation, you should try and get a picture of one of the most iconic structures in town. Big Ben is the large clock that dominates the bank of the river Thames.

It is actually the nickname for the huge bell that is housed at the back of the tower. People in London will recognise the image of the clock because it features in the opening credits of the daily News at Ten television programme along with its famous bongs and chimes.

Houses of Parliament

Adjacent to Big Ben is The Houses of Parliament is where the government of Great Britain carries out its political business. This consists of two houses – The House of Lords and The House of Commons.

Parts of the building are open to the general public. You can seat in the pubic gallery in the House of Commons and watch some of the proceedings.
